Jule Waibel transforms simple sheet materials into three-dimensional objects, with the additional capability that they can transform, expand and contract.
From Paper to Reality
Jule started with a range of transforming objects made out of Tyvek paper. In 2014 Jule has developed her collection further with the addition of new pieces made from fabric. A dress that changes its shape according to the movement of the body, made of pleated fabric. The dresses are made from one piece of pleated silk. The project celebrates the beauty found between geometry, transformation and play.
